I am having personal issues right now- But I am still working out but the problem is that I am not eating- I am not a stress/emotional eater- when i am stressed I don't eat I am emotionally drained and push myself through the day at work take care of my girls then workout then curl up in a ball in my room- my kids are eating dinner but I am not. I know its not good to not eat but i can't force myself either because I am sick to my stomach

I'm like you when I'm stressed I don't eat. Stress either makes my stomach upset or it's just one big knot. Just the idea of a plate of food makes me ill.
Having said that you and I both know you still have to eat.
Try small things like a piece of fruit or 4-5 slices of cucumber or a spoonful or rice or mashed potatoes or whatever you fixed for your girls. A box of raisins, a granola or nutrition bar. Don't try to plan a whole meal you'll just overwhelm your brain. I know what it's like for a bowl of cereal to seem like a monumental task.
A little food at a time will give your body what it needs to keep moving. You can't take care of your kids if you've no energy left.
I'll add you and yours to my prayer list. Be encouraged.0 -
I have the exact same issue, I completely stop eating when I am super upset. I can tell you this, I lose weight, but as soon as some of the stress subsides I get super sick. I think that the combination of stress and not eating makes my immune system so weak that I catch whatever little bug is around me. Please try to take care of yourself. Not sitting down to a whole meal is a good idea. Just grab something small and try to eat it without thinking about it. Chew slowly. I usually end up going for bland things like bread or saltines.0

If it's only a day or two, eating very little isn't a huge deal, but if this is an ongoing problem, you could be doing a lot off damage. Try eating things that you really like, that maybe you wouldn't normally eat. a slice of pizza or some ice cream. Small amounts of food may work, or drinking- like a glass of milk. Your body needs fuel to run properly, especially if you are in a high stress situation.0

thanks everyone- I know I need to eat but food isn't even close to being on my mind at this moment- But I am trying to eat a little bit of things but no where near the amount of calories that I need for a day.0
