women from weight training and having muscles? I think muscle on a woman is a beautiful thing its why I'm working so hard but thats my opinion whats yours.

I have the same opinion as you. I think people would rather see women as soft figures instead of strong figures. I dont like huge muscular women, but toned women are beautiful!0

I love my muskels (that's how I insist on pronoucing it
) and I am definitely going to keep building up. The more of that you have the better you can burn fat!! 0 -
Unless a woman is extreme on the muscle end, muscle and toned women are great. Women who aren't working out 35364737 hours a day, doing steroids and taking extreme measures are NOT going to bulk up like a body builder. I think that's what most people really mean when they say they don't like muscles on women.
I'm working hard to be toned and firm, not flabby!0 -
i lift heavy weights daily and i dont look like a man...woman who look like men are trying to look like that, it doesnt just happen, so i say lift the heavys ladies....good luck on your journey!

Nothing wrong with muscles on women, it is very sexy. I personally don't like them to look like Arnold, but that's just me.0

Yes, women who claim they bulk up when lifting weights likely haven't lost the fat over the muscle yet... stick with it ladies. Lift heavy weights. 99% of us do not bulk up like men. Women body builders do EXTREME exercises and diet to achieve their bodies for competition and they don't look like that all the time - just for competition.

Me being muscular would scare me, but for anyone else else that is happy for being that way, yey for them! ;D

Muscle looks better on both men and women. It makes us look healthier, stand with a better posture, feel good and strong. There's a common misconception that if a woman lifts heavy she will turn into a she-hulk. You will often hear people say, "i don't want to lift weights because i don't want to bulk up". Bulking up does not happen by accident. It takes laser-focused dedication and often, drugs. Cheers to all women (AND men) who lift!0

I had a trainer tell me to lift light and do heavy reps......not knowing any better I did for a month, which did give me great muscle endurance, then I read an article that said that theory is wrong and women should lift heavy so I started lifting heavy about 3 wks ago and already I can see a difference in my arms, legs and abs and that's under all the fat I have left to lose. WOMEN......LIFT HEAVY!! :flowerforyou:0

I LOVE muscle and I work hard to have it!!! I think everyone has their own preferences... I just prefer to have a more athletic figure verses a curvy one. The truth is, I was curvy for most of my adult life... I was muscular too but it was just hidden under more padding
I much prefer the way I look now because I can actually SEE the muscle I've built! 0 -
I think all body types are beautiful and everyone has their own preference.
I personally love being muscular and am working towards my goal of being even stronger and more defined.0 -
Two thumbs up for women with muscles. Just not to the extreme where they can bench press me.0
