I have 584kcals left today but I'm not hungry really.... I've had 3 meals and some chocolate and used 617kcals! Shall I eat more??
I feel guilty to eat just because I have calories left!

If you're over 1200 cals, you're fine if you're not hungry. If you're under that, you may want to eat a bit more.0

try and maybe have a treat like a hot chocolate or icecream?0

I looked at your diary, you need to be eating at least 1200 cal a day. Even if youre not hungry. That is the minimum requirement your body needs just to function... so ya, EAT! lol:) And I had a few suggestions of things you could eat that are more filling/satisfying without feeling like youre eating so much... if youre interested let me know. MFP already takes into account 500 as a deficit so you cant make the deficit more... thats not how it works.0

That's a lot to be under! I would definitely suggest eating more0

try to eat, 617 for 1 day isn't enough.0

Eat at least your 1200. If your not hungry, DONT EAT. But a snack to end the night is always good, just don't try and max out.0

I also looked at your diary and you are not eating nearly enough for proper metabolic function so I echo what the others have said, eat more.0

I want to know what you're doing with all that salad cream and mint sauce!0

What do I add in my day then to bring my kcals up?
I have toast & butter, then ham salad for lunch then veggies for dinner
I thought I was being healthy0 -

hahaha - Salad cream I LOVE... only reason I eat! And 10tsp of mint jelly is actually only 1 tsp (I added it in wrong when i created a new food!)0 -
almonds, fruit smoothies, chocolate milk post workout, cook a quick snack using olive oil, milk, whole wheat breads, whole grain breads, need I go on? Healthy intake will most likely be highly counter intuitive for you until you get used to a raised metabolic rate, this is sadly one of the biggest problems I see on mfp on a daily basis from many many ppl.0

Something I've noticed since I started is that eating healthy results in having to eat more =(0 -

Nuts, peanut butter, cheese, yogurt, smoothies. You need to eat way more than what you had today, or your metabolism will slow down and you will mess it up.0 -

It's so true. I went to an athletic event where I burned 2700 calories... We later went to a buffet and I was grabbing as much fish and crab as I could. For all my efforts my full plate of fish was barely 600 calories... far short from the 2700 I needed to recover for the day. lol0 -

have more than veggies for dinner, have veggies, a meat source, and a carbohydrate source.
I.E. veggies are fine, but also add 3.5 oz of roasted chicken breast, or tuna, or ... heck, almost any meat source. Then add maybe a sweet potato, or some long grain wild rice, or some Quinoa, any good starchy source of carbohydrates and protein is good. you need to eat to allow your body to keep it's functional energy levels up. don't fall into the "the less I eat, the more I'll lose" trap, that's false, and dangerous in the long run.0 -
yeah i guess it all makes sense.... I might try and add potato to my salad everyday....
I lost 21lbs last yr in a couple of months through not eating much (i was going through a break up n had half a jacket potato n tuna a day)
Im also having ice cream... naughty :P0 -
Your protein is very low, you need at least meet the minimum. It's important.
It's good to cut out calories from snack foods and processed foods, but, you still need a few good, balanced meals to support your body and keep it healthy. So, try to eat protein with every meal - have eggs with your morning toast, lunch is OK, and some meat, dairy, beans or soy with dinner.0 -
SHBoss1673 is correct listen to the man he is one of the good ones on here for sure.0

Try and eat a piece of toast with some fruit or a yoghurt just to bump those calories up a little bit more!0
