I make a great spaghetti - TONS of veggies, red, green, yellow peppers, spinach, mushrooms, I even put carrots in there. Makes the sauce really nice and thick so you don't feel the need for as many noodles and whatnot.

Also, same concept with homade pita pizzas...use light sauce or olive oil, some shredded cheese and load on the veggies

Those are some quick meals for me that are filling and can be leftovers, too :drinker:

Pick the seasonal fruits! Berries are in season and yes they have a decent amount of natural sugar but also alot of natural antioxidants! And every berry has its own unique flavor. Watermelon! Low cal! and it has potassium to help reduce/eliminate muscle cramps

    Some of my favorite snacks:

Strawberries dipped in low fat ricotta cheese
Light laughing cow cheese spread on celery sticks or apple wedges
Choboni greek yogurt (My Costco sells a pack of 12 all fat free including Blueberry, Peach and Strawberry)
Fat free cottage cheese and sliced avacado between two slices of wheat toast (messy, but well worth it!)
NuGo bars (My Costco sells a pack of their low glycemic bars including chocolate, peanut butter chocolate and vanilla yougurt)

    Enjoy!

To add to the veggies, you can use Spaghetti Squash for your noodles instead of pasta. That's how I've been eating my spaghetti. :)
