Good thing I exercised today!

Today is my son's Thanksgiving Dinner at school (also where I work) and I told him I would be eating lunch with him today! So knowing that I would be eating the Thanksgiving Dinner, I knew I should exercise hard this morning. I burned 300 calories on my elliptical and added up the lunch and what I had for breakfast and still had 700is for dinner tonight! Well, lo and behold my door opens and another teacher had brought in a Krispy Kreme doughnut since I had "missed" them earlier. I ATE it:noway: I went to add it into my food diary and it was 300 calories. I knew it would be a lot, but it sure was good and I savored every bite of it! So I worked my tail off this morning burning 300 cal for that stinkin doughnut:ohwell: I still have 400 for dinner and I'm thinking a salad is sounding pretty good right now! I could have turned it down- I had the willpower, but I knew I had enough "fuel in the tank" to eat it! Moral of the story: Exercise, you never know when you may need that extra fuel

Depending on the Krispy Kreme, it may have only been 200 calories. There is an incorrect entry for 300 on there. Regular glazed is only 200. I double checked the KK website. There IS a food entry for the 200 calorie one.
BTW, I'm from the hometown of Krispy Kreme!! :bigsmile:0 -
Those Krispy Kremes look like a little round slice of heaven but are in fact a little round tire of lard that you may as well slather on your thighs!
TORTURE! :happy:0 -

Ahhh, I'll take it! I'm going to go change it right now! Thanks for the info:)0 -
I know how it is...there is a KK store close to my house and every time I drive past it I drool a little. I treat myself once a month so I don't feel deprived though.:flowerforyou:0

Oh man, that would kill me in weight loss!! Don't think I would have the will to keep driving:) But at least you can get one once a month for a treat0
