Today is my son's Thanksgiving Dinner at school (also where I work) and I told him I would be eating lunch with him today! So knowing that I would be eating the Thanksgiving Dinner, I knew I should exercise hard this morning. I burned 300 calories on my elliptical and added up the lunch and what I had for breakfast and still had 700is for dinner tonight! Well, lo and behold my door opens and another teacher had brought in a Krispy Kreme doughnut since I had "missed" them earlier. I ATE it:noway: I went to add it into my food diary and it was 300 calories. I knew it would be a lot, but it sure was good and I savored every bite of it! So I worked my tail off this morning burning 300 cal for that stinkin doughnut:ohwell: I still have 400 for dinner and I'm thinking a salad is sounding pretty good right now! I could have turned it down- I had the willpower, but I knew I had enough "fuel in the tank" to eat it! Moral of the story: Exercise, you never know when you may need that extra fuel:wink:

Depending on the Krispy Kreme, it may have only been 200 calories. There is an incorrect entry for 300 on there. Regular glazed is only 200. I double checked the KK website. There IS a food entry for the 200 calorie one.

BTW, I'm from the hometown of Krispy Kreme!!
  • Those Krispy Kremes look like a little round slice of heaven but are in fact a little round tire of lard that you may as well slather on your thighs!

    TORTURE!

I know how it is...there is a KK store close to my house and every time I drive past it I drool a little. I treat myself once a month so I don't feel deprived though.:flowerforyou:

Oh man, that would kill me in weight loss!! Don't think I would have the will to keep driving:) But at least you can get one once a month for a treat
