Does any one have any suggestions for a low calorie side dish that ISN'T made of vegetables. I always make a protien and a vegetable but would like something else. The only type of side dish I have been able to think of is whole wheat pasta w/butter sprinkles and parmesean cheese. I am really tired of these. I could bake french fries but 7 peices for 110 calories just doesn't seem worth it to me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I miss my sides!!!!

You could have a turkey burger on a wheat bun and you can make fries from sweet potato or yams to go along with it. lol0

Fresh Fruit with Cottage Cheese is one of my favorite sides and it seems to always hit the spot!0

Beans make a great side dish. I like black beans with onions and chopped up jalapenos. Just saute together, salt, pepper and eat.0
