I was wondering if anyone has a Polar HRM or any other brand and when you are working out it stops? I have the chest strap also but not sure what is going on and if anyone else has/had this problem and what they did to fix it.

Do you wet your chest strap down before putting it on? That should help some. Sounds like your watch isn't getting a continuous reading from the chest strap. I know mine says to wet down the sensors on the strap before putting it on so that it gets a good connection w your body.
