Awesome Hummus Recipe

So I'm a huge hummus fan, especially using fresh veggies to dip with (so it's a super healthy snack!), and usually buy the prepackaged stuff which is delicious... But I was feeling adventurous today and thought I would try making my own.
BEST. IDEA. EVER.
This recipe is from FoodNetwork.com (courtesy of the Barefoot Contessa) and rocks!

Hope you all like it as much as I did!

Use once again nut butter tahini that is sesame paste.0

I love hummus and I usually eat the sabra jalapeno hummus. I'll be checking the link later, thanks!0

Yep, it's tahini, they had it at jewel, and I know that you can make your own too if you can't find it in stores0

Home made hummus is so easy and yummy. There are really a lot of different varieties out there if you google it. No matter what hummus I am making I always roast a red pepper and puree it into the ingredients. The roasted red pepper makes such a fabulous flavour difference and then you have also added another vegetable into the mix. check out the hummus on Cook book 101 (Heidi Swanson)......she does one with walnuts instead of tahini.......it is also so yummy. As always on that recipe I also add in a roasted red pepper.0

I've tried eggplant hummus before but it came out pretty awful, haha. I'll have to try the roasted red pepper, though! Thanks for the tip0 -
That looks great I will try it.
Here is my favorite hummus recipe.
