I love bread but think i should be cutting down on it as its so high in carbs. How much bread do you eat a day? Do you limit it? What do you have as alternatives? Thanks

I like sandwich thins. I can't remember who makes them, but it's only 100 calories, compared to whatever you would usually spend on 2 slices of bread or a bun.

I eat about 2-4 slices a day, and I refuse to give it up. I eat wholegrain-rye bread, which has no fat in it. Go for a run and you will burn the carbs

I have cut out bread for the last 10 days and i feel less bloated, my tummy has gone down quite a bit. I dont think some people can tolerate it. I would have a wrap instead as its about the same caleries as one slice of bread. So instead of using two slices wrap it all up in one wrap!

Nature's Own sugar-free whole grain wheat bread is 50 calories per slice. I have 2 or 3 slices each day.

You can get 35 calorie wheat bread, which is lower in cals and is complex, so it doesn't spike your blood sugar, making you hungry again shortly after.
