HELP!!! 7 week deadline

I need to lose a ton of weight by June 16th. I just got invited to a family reunion but it is all family that I have never met before. They all really want to meet me and my kids but they are going to a lake and will be doing water sports and what not. I have not worn a swim suit in 7 years and want to. The problem is.....before kids I never had to work out so I have no idea where to even begin!!! Please help if you have any advise that could help. I understand the counting calories and the cardio part but its when it comes to weight training and firming everything that I am completely at a loss. I have 7 weeks and want to do the most possible!!! Thank you for any advice!

7 weeks is a good amount of time, don't panic! The easiest, fastests, most simple, and cheapest is to get some shoes and go running. Very few things burn more calories than a simple run and given you live in a decent climite, you can just go outside so its easy. Don't be too cheap on shoes, but a good pair doesn't need to cost more than $50 or $60. If you are not a running, try running for 25 minutes and then walking for 25 and decrease the walking time gradually. Given no medical issues you can even go for a run 5 - 7 days a week though some people may argue for a "rest" day - listen to your body on that one. good luck!0

You can do it.......in 7 weeks you can lose up to 10 pounds if you stay within your calorie range. As far as firming up, you might want to try Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. It's inexpensive ($9.00), easily obtainable (Sams, Costco, Meijer), takes less than 30 minutes a day, and you can do it from your home. Even if you can't do all of the exercises at first, just do the best you can and keep moving. It'll be tough to stay consistent, but think how great you will feel at the reunion. :happy:0
