New to MFP

Hi everyone! I've been using MFP for a little over 2 weeks. I think the tool is great and the members are great too, there are a lot of helpful tips and tricks posted. I really love reading all the encouragement and support. I am a recent WW convert. I started my weightloss journey Jan 2010 when I topped the scale at 273 lbs and my blood pressure was elevated, and my knees were hurting and my feet were swelling... ok you all get the point :embarassed: Anywho after taking a look at my beautiful grandson, I decided to get it together... I truly love WW they have taught me a lot about making healthier food choices and not being deprived, but because I am not in a rush, nor do I plan on getting to their goal weight for me, I decided to shop around and here I am.

I have lost over 55 lbs and still have a ways to go to get to a healthy weight, I pretty much have the eating part together, I just have to get myself in the frame of mind to workout. :grumble: Although since we have been having some nice weather my grandson (2 years old), hubby and I have been walking and playing at the playground... every little bit helps.

    Welcome....my daughter brought me here...and I thank her everyday....

    I, too, have a grand child...a beautiful girl...she is 3...and needs a Grandma who can 'chase' her, so I have to get in better shape,....WHAT A FABULOUS REASON!!
