YOU CAN DO IT! Envision yourself in your wedding dress...that should be motivation! And maybe a sexy slip for that evening...that should be motivation! And how happy you will be...that should be motivation! YOU CAN DO IT!!! Think of this an crunch time! Work extra hard...burn more calories and keep yourself going! I know how stressful wedding time is...I got married this past July. It's the most stressful thing I've ever done. This will be the most important day of your life...that should be motivation! YOU CAN DO IT!! Good luck to you ...and get your butt to the gym!!! Enough motivation? I'm here if you need more!! Seriously, good luck!

aw sorry your day's been bad :flowerforyou:
you can do, it and tomorrow is a new day0 -
Well to start with
#1. CALM DOWN!
Stress has been known to add pounds. BREATH! (Whew. Feel BETTER?)
#2 understand that 5 weeks is a LONG TIME! and you only have 7 pounds to lose. EASY!
#3 add 5 to 10 minutes to whatever you are doing workout wise for the next 5 weeks.
even though 5 weeks is a long time, you do have a goal here and you need to reach it. YOU WILL! an this extra is only for 5 weeks YOU CAN DO THAT RIGHT??!!
#4 In this case weight is not the issue, MEASURMENTS ARE! When was the last time you tried on your dress. If you are thinking weigh is what will fit you in there, it is really measurments that do.
Try on your dress. IT MIGHT BE TOO BIG! If this is the case, then you have 5 weeks to get it taken in.
#5 In a couple of meals a week make them a fresh home made soup. Low in cals LOW IN SALT, lets not retain water now! Lots of fiber to clean out your system and get you all freash for your big day.
#6 Speaking of water. DRINK MORE! If you are not peeing clear you are not drinking enough. Water intake helps to make sure we do not retain water. :drinker: :drinker: I know this sounds odd but it is true.
#7 If you go to celebrations for your big day prior to that day STAY AWAY FROM THE HARD STUFF! One glass MAYBE 2 of WINE BUT NOTHING MIXED WITH A FANCY OR FUNNY NAME! Not to mention this is another thing that makes us retain water. Remember this at your bacholett party too. Because the NEXT day you are walking down the isle you want to be a stunner. INSIDE AND OUT! Not to mention getting drunk halts our resolve. There can not be a food item at your parties that will take the place of how great you are going to fill walking down the isle. IN FACT TAKE THAT STATEMENT AND PRINT IT OFF AND HANG IT ON YOUR WALL AT WORK AND FRIDGE AT HOME. Nothing tastes as good as thin feels. BTW you can pig out on the honeymoon.
You are going to be fine dear. It is ONLY 7 pounds that is doable and EASY for you!

As for the people giving you ideas for your wedding Have ANY OF US THAT HAVE gotten married NOT have the world tell US how WE should have OUR day?? :noway:
Just smile as best you can, tell them GEE, I wish I had thought about it, but everything is all planned now, and I can not change it.
This will make then think they had a good idea, No matter how DUMB IT WAS!
and gets you off the hook for listening to any other idiot ideas that they have.

thanks so much guys, my dress is a corset top, so there is a little room in it, i reckon an inch or 2 around the waist should do, is that possible in 5 weeks?
i also want to firm up my arms, i bought a weight, i think its 1lb weight, how many reps would i need to do each evening to firm up my upper arms in 5 weeks?
thanks so much for all your suport, i am looking to get to my goal in the 130's for my birthday in december, i want to lose a little for my wedding too.
i only recently dealt with some emotional issues with my dad, so i feel (for the first time in my life really) that i am able and want to look after myself properly. i spent all my time mindind every1 else.
i love this website, am here over 2 months now and i love it :flowerforyou:0
