Really planning to use it this time....

I've been signed up for quite a while now but never really stuck to putting in the information. I have a wedding coming up and would like to lose a few pounds before then. I also have one of those FitBit things on the way thanks to Amazon. So here's to staying motivated and getting back in shape!

You can do it. I truly believe the food diary is key to success. it is definitely helping me stay accountable and make better choices. And it gets easier as time goes on.

You're going to hear this from everyone, but log log log! Weigh and measure everything so you can get an accurate count of what's going in. I find that participating in the forums really helps me as well, because I want to be on the site to chat, and I might as well log while I'm here.

I have used this site off and on since 2012 and have been an off and onner as well. So, I agree with everyone saying log log log, but for me I end up giving up on that after a while. Although I did use my very own that I handwrote into a cookie monster tablet for the 6-8 months in 2013 when I lost 52 pounds (and now have put a lot back on). Really writing it all down, and really has to be ALL of it, does help you realize what you are eating and what you can change. I started now too coming to the boards here because I think talking to and hearing from others in the same situation really can help to stay on track.
