Hi everyone,
It's time! Time for me to stop making excuses and take care of myself. I have a million reasons (some of them are really, really good!) for how and why I've gotten out of shape and gained weight, stopped exercising. But I'm ready to make changes and to live a healthier life.
I am embarrassed by my weight gain and lack of exercise because I KNOW what to do, how to do it and how important it is. That's okay and I won't let that stop me.
I have started the C25K program, got myself up super early to do my workout, it was easier than yesterday, hey! I am eliminating the sugar from my diet--that's where I stumble. I eat very cleanly, love to cook, just really need to kick my carb and sugar carvings to the curb. I'd really, really love to learn how to stop stress eating: I am looking to exercise to release stress instead of eating.
My goal is to feel fit, run a 5k in the beginning of December, have more energy and less stress and lose 50 pounds. (I haaaaaaaate even writing that number: how how how did this happen?)
ANWYAY, onwards and upwards. I would LOVE support on this journey: I am great at giving it and would really like to receive it Thank you! VioLynnie

It sounds like you're off to a good start. I would caution you, however about trying to do too much too soon. Unless you know that you have issues with sugars and carbs, there isn't a need to try to eliminate them from your body. Carbs are very valuable tools for energy, which you will need with added exercise. I did the C25K program starting in January and now love running! I now run a 5K three to four days a week. Trust the program...it works! Good luck to you!0
