Yup, buy the plain stuff and sweeten it yourself.0 -
Fage (pronounced fa-yeh) plain
Chobani plain0 -
If it is just the natural lactose in the yogurt, don't worry about it....just watch out for all the extra stuff that gets put in. I think plain greek yogurt runs around 6 grams of sugar per 5 oz cup.0

The unsweetened ones only have 6 sugars....I use a plain one, mix one packet of Truvia into it and it is fine and fresh berries or frozen ones....much better0

Fage is best, but also most expensive. I also like Chobani. Oikos third. I wouldn't go with Yoplait or another cheaper brand for the greek yogurt...this is one of those instances where cheap is def not better. Been there, done that0

Get the plain yogurt. There's very little natural sugar in that, and if you can't eat it like that (I can't!), you can control how much sweet stuff you add to it.
I add a bit of Truvia to mine, plus cinnamon. But you could add honey, jam, berries, granola....but in an amt. that won't wreck your diet.0 -
Puree it with some fresh or frozen (no sugar added) fruit and a bit of honey or other sweetener... still tastes great without all of the added crap!0

I found one (I don't know where youi live) at Save On Foods by Liberte, it's a great low everything. I was floored how much sugar was in the regular stuff but oh so yummy lol.0

Plain Fage or Chobani
You can mix in your own fruit to flavor it.0 -

Thank you for all those responses!!!
Plain it is... I actually don't mind it plain, I just wouldn't eat a lot of it. I do like adding in granola to make it crunchy.0 -

mmm I love Chobani or Fage non-fat plain with some Splenda (yeah I know I might get some crap for using artificial sweeteners, do want to try that Truvia stuff tho...)0

You can make your own Greek yogurt by placing plain yogurt in a coffee filter-lined strainer and setting over a bowl. Then refrigerate overnight. Then discard the liquid in the bowl and you are left with Greek yogurt in the strainer. The yogurt that you begin with will decrease by half the amount once it has drained overnight.0

I love the Chobani and yes it does have the sugars, but in my mind (and maybe only there tee hee)... I think, it is a natural sugar they use so it is not so bad, (I hope), I have been eating it everyday for 4 months and am losing weight.0

I get the plain Chobani (so much cheaper!) and mix in a high fiber granola bar, and a tbsp of Strawberry Simply Fruit Strawberry Preserves. I don't do artificial sweetners, but if you do, you could probably add artificially sweetened preserves to the yogurt to give it some flavor.0

Actually FAGE plain whole fat yogurt is 7g per ONE cup - that's a lot less that the above! It's what I eat and I love it. I don't eat sweetened yogurt. I don't like how it tastes. Even before I gave up sugar, I always ate my yogurt plain. For me, putting sugar in yogurt is like putting it on cheese or something. I just doesn't do it for me.0 -

This sounds like what I would love!
that is great, I use everything else anyway!0 -
