Toning and Zumba

Hi guys,
I have reached the home stretch of my weight loss, and looking to start toning as well. I dont have access to a gym or weights.
A few years ago i bought the Zumba Fitness at home dvd set, and two of the workout dvds are Zumba Sculpt and Tone, and Zumba Flat Abs Workout.

I was wondering whether these will actually be effective in starting my toning, or I should just try things like push ups, sits ups, etc.

Thanks

I'd suggest body weight exercises then. "Toning" = strength training.

Zumba is almost all cardio, so it's a great exercise for building cardiovascular fitness and burning calories, but it doesn't count as strength training. You should start doing some bodyweight exercises. There are tons of resources online; google bodyweight exercises.

We use weights, bands, balls and do floor exercises to work core strength in Jazzercise class, which is very similar to Zumba, as far as the dance cardio. It works, so I would assume that a Zumba toning tape would probably be about the same.
