burned caloires.. how meny though?

How meny calories should I burn a day? How can I actuality count the ones I do burn? I just hiked a 1.3 mile hike with half of it is up a hill. How do I calculate that?

    If you search "walking uphill" or "hiking" in the exercise area, it should give you a pretty good idea of what you burned.
  • keep track of your time and distance or speed then just look it up in the database or you can get a heart rate monitor that keeps track of calories burned

    I did not know there was such a device! Awesome! I feel I didn't burn 485 calories today.. I bike for 15mins, treadmill for a little over a mile for 20 mins, and hiked the hill it took 40 mins but I say 30 mins minus my "i am way to fat for this breaks"

    on average you burn about 100 calories a mile
