New to MFP

Hi everyone. I am Melanie. I joined this site for the apps and the motivation. I would like to loose weight to become healthier and lower my risks of diabetes and heart disease. At times I feel like a hypocrite because I don't eat healthy or exercise like I should (and I am overweight) but I talk to patients every day about prevention. Food is my one vice and I want to learn to enjoy it without over-doing it. The Bible tells me that my body is a "temple of the holy spirit" and I have not been treating it as such. I want to end the hypocrisy by practicing what I preach!
