So I started out all great, super excited and ready to work out all the time and change my lifestyle. I lost 3 pounds in 2 weeks and I was SO happy! But, I have a bingeing disorder. And I let that take a hold of me. And now I've gotten back my 3 pounds. And the 5K is on SATURDAY. Now what?

Now get over it and get back to business.0

Do the 5K, treat it as a training run, walk when you need. Your first 5K will always be a PB and will give you a target to beat next time... when you train properly, right? More regular exercise will help the bingeing, as will tracking every single mouthful on MFP before you eat it. Good luck0

Also run tonight and Wednesday just to remind yourself you can, then rest up until Saturday.0

Honestly? I've never trained for a 5K and I've taken 10 minutes off my time over the course of a year (just through other forms of exercize and getting healthy). Count this as your "time to beat" and then the healthier you get over time, the better your race time will get.0

Do the 5k, even if you walk it, remember, Run when you can, Walk if you have to, crawl if you must, but get over the finish line, slow miles is better than no miles.0

Run 10k instead then...0

You may surprise yourself and actually be more prepared than you think - that's what happened to me Best of luck to you!0

Enjoy your 3.1 mile walk/jog and then address and resolve your eating problem.0

You can totally jog/walk a 5k with NO training easily. No excuses on Saturday!0

No one is going to force you to actually run. Run til you can't, then walk the rest in.0
