How do I log breastfeeding calories burned?

I am sure this has been asked a million times and as fun as it sounds to sift through feeds of already answered questions I just dont have that kind of time. Anyone know how many calories are burned or how to log it?

    There is no MFP option for this. My suggestion is to Google it. Then enter the calories used as walking or some other equivalent exercise.

    It exists in the food database and I believe it's also in the exercise database. Log it in one place or the other, but you will have to add it to your diary each day.

    I would just up your daily calorie goal by x amount (maybe start with 500, since that's what I see quoted frequently) instead of having to input it every day. If you're still losing at the desired rate, then great. If you're losing faster or slower than you want, then adjust. You could still input exercise calories, etc to adjust for activity.

    I just think it would be easier that way.

    Just create it as an exercise. I believe it burns around the same as donating blood, about 600.

    I just incorporate it into my daily intake. It is a bit of trial and error since there is really no way of knowing how many calories it "burns" but I know it can range from 300-500 (more or less) depending on age and frequency of feedings.

    There are negative calories that you can add from the food section and then once you start adding food it fills up those calories.

    You can look at my diary if you need to. I'm nursing a two year old so i'm only giving myself 200 calories, if you exclusively nursing give yourself 500!!
