I have a 2 month old and almost 2 year old. I actually lost 12 pounds even after losing the baby weight, but then I started gaining again and realized that I had to change my eating habits. I gained back around 8 pounds, and honestly my motivation right now is to get the body back that I had 8 pounds ago. Once I get there, I will have even more motivation to lose more because I felt amazing even at that weight. I am trying to eat healthier mainly because I am cooking not only for myself but also my toddler. I figure if she has to eat healthy (it is important to me that she does), I should as well and lead by example. How about starting by not buying certain foods? I used to have a ton of candy and junk in the house but now I really watch what we bring in, that way I will grab say grapes instead of cookies or candy when I get stressed or need a quick snack.

Make changes slowly. Find one thing you can change this week that you'll stick to and do that for a week, then add something else. That's worked the best for me. Too many changes at once is overwhelming when you're sleep deprived. Also, don't give up if you have one slip-up. Dust yourself off and go back to your plan.

My daughter is 6.5 months old. I'm back to my pre-baby weight... but still need to lose the last 10 pounds I never lost after having my son who will be 3 next month.
