...hard, but I'm doing it. Drink my water, have a hard time making my calorie goal daily, and do yoga/pilates at least 3 times per week. In the first two weeks I lost 6 lbs. Today i get on the scale, and it tells me I've gained 4.5 lbs, back! This is something that happens to me a lot. Is there something I should do to keep this "yo-yo" crap from continuing?!? If you've gained 4.5 pounds in one week, I'd be tempted to say that it's caused by glycogen related water gain. That mean that glycogen in your muscles bonds to water, causing weight gain. What causes the glycogen? Carbs. So I'd be tempted to suggest that your carb intake was higher than expected in the last few days.
However, that's just an educated guess. It could also be scale error. It's unlikely to be fat.0 -
If you need more calories in your day, add fats and oils. You need something to make up for the missing carbs.0

Have you had a lot of salt lately? That can cause weight gain... just water weight, not fat. If yes drink more water and it'll be gone in a few days.0
