My son doesn't really have an appetite when he first wakes up, so he doesn't eat much before he gets on the bus in the morning. It's usually milk with Ovaltine and whatever he can manage: half a PBJ, quick breakfast taco, yogurt or Cheerios.

Our house is crazy in the morning, and after 9 years of wishing my son would sleep past 6 am, I'm suddenly at the point where I have to drag him out of bed for school in the morning, lol. Do they like things like banana bread or pumpkin bread? You could make a loaf of that on the weekend and eat slices for the week. Top with butter, cream cheese, jelly, peanut butter, yogurt or honey. Fruit salad? Homemade yogurt parfait cups with fun mix-ins. Cinnamon raisin bread. Breakfast pizza? I have found some types of turkey sausage microwave surprisingly well.
