Doesn't matter if it's from fruit or not, but 5g is neither here nor there.

No. Never. If you ever do this, go and sit and the corner.

Sugar coming from fruit no. Sugar coming from processed stuff maybe? Everyone is different. I can't have a lot of sugar or it causes my weight to stall. I notice the weeks where I limit my sugar with the exception of fruit I see a better result on the scale. Some people are lucky and sugar don't affect them.

You can turn on and off different nutrients from the display in your diary. I turned off sugar because I am not diabetic. I made iron visible because I've fought with anemia for years.

tl;dr: Not diabetic? Don't watch your sugar.

I don't even track my sugar. If you don't have a medical reason to watch it, it doesn't matter.
  • Not all sugar is created equal! Getting sugar from fruit is much healthier than eating the sugar in processed foods!

Calories as a whole are the most important thing. Once you master them then you can start working on the other stuff.

It sort of depends on why you are watching your sugar.
