Happy Monday!!! (I'm trying, okay??? ;-) )

Hello all - I used MFP a long, long time ago and judging by the weight I've gained, and the "a little higher than normal" glucose & cholesterol levels at my physical exam in August..... it's definitely time I get back on track!

I'm hoping to feel better (much better), sleep better, and generally have a better outlook on life. So, here's hoping that I find some great friends who will share with me the desire to improve ourselves, and to motivate each other through the challenges, and celebrate each and every victory (just 1# is a victory, right?).

One quick question, though - how do I create a signature that includes my tracker? I know that I had one "once upon a time", but I'd like to update it and I can't even find where it is!

Thanks everyone - let's do this!!!

Christine

Good job Christine. I am Steve by the way. Nice to meet you. Isn't it amazing how quick our weight creeps up on you? I had a similar experience. In January of this year my wife and I went to the doctor. I stepped on the scale and was the biggest that I have ever been in my life. Was on blood pressure meds, cholesterol, and pre-diabetic. With lots of support and advice I have lost 110 pounds. Still have a good 30 or so to go. Celebrate the victories. Even the small ones.

  • Hello & Welcome back to MFP? LOL

Nothing like a little black & white test results to get us going aye? ;) (I was diagnosed pre-diabetic)

    Best of luck to you!

Hi, Christine. I am in the same boat... bloodwork at my physical shows pre diabetes.... time to get back on the wagon and focus on me and improving my health. I am looking for friends to encourage and hold me accountable.
    Good luck!
