I like green and blacks or lindt dark chocolate. They have really good flavours and one or two squares at most would fill you. Not sure if you can get these brands in Canada?

If you like milk chocolate then eat milk chocolate. Simply track it and make it fit your goals...

Where is @liftingforlis ?? This is so up her alley.

Not a fan of dark chocolate. Did like the Ghirardelli dark with raspberry filling, though.

I haven't had chocolate in I don't know how long. Halloween should prove interesting, lol. :)

The only (and I mean ONLY) dark chocolate I like is Green & Black's 85% cocoa. It isn't bitter like other darks and is very rich. I only eat a few squares at a time and don't feel tempted to get more.

G&B is British and Lindt is I think German or Belgian so they're probably available in Canada if they're available in the US.

I love Green and Blacks and Lindt. Mainly because they have so many different flavours like salted caramel, mint, blueberry and coconut. I find that two squares is enough whereas I could easily eat a 200g bar of milk chocolate!

OP First, why not eat milk chocolate? If it has to be dark I like Trader Joe's dark chocolate lovers AND they have the best dark chocolate covered almonds! OMG and the best little peanut butter cups!

If it's dairy you're trying to avoid then there are looooads of vegan milk chocolates with cow milk alternatives.

I'm not a big fan of dark but I like it when it's orange flavored.

I buy a bar of pure dark cacao chocolate from ALDI.....1 square is about 200 calories, not to mention, very rich in antioxidants ;) Just gotta remember, there's nothing wrong with chocolate......just watch the macros.......sure it's got some saturated fats, etc.....but the antioxidants I feel outweigh in this area.....You want to shoot for "dark" chocolate though, it's very rich, and is rated by percentages.....it tastes kind of gritty at first, but after a while I acquired a taste for it ;)

@Jazz_2014: I've heard bad stuff about Hershey's......namely, they use a lot of "wax".....in their chocolate...no idea why.....? But yea, that's the only "complaint" I've heard....

And hell, for all I know, that bar of chocolate from ALDI could be packaged by Hershey :P Since ALDI is all off-brand, generic......created by the lowest bidder type generics lol....

Eat what you like. But if you're looking to try dark chocolate, I like Godiva Sea Salt Dark Chocolate best of the ones I've tried. But I haven't tried a ton. Gotta find the Green and Black's, I've seen it recommend several times.

Try the lindt excellence bars. I'm more a milk chocolate lover but the dark intense orange is addictive, the coconut is good also, think i'll be brave and try their chili flavor next.
