Hi I just started this program today as I was going to start Weight Watchers but found a bunch of links say that My Fitness Pal is all most the same and it is free! So here I am ready to start a new chapter in my life ... but lighter I hope. I am 45 years old and have 3 great kids and a wonderful husband. I was diagnosed 5 years ago of having type 2 diabetes and my life change a lot since that day. The doctors are still in fights of debating if I am type 1 or 2 but I am insulin dependent. I am hoping to change my habits of eating to a healthier one. Thanks for reading.!!

  • I find this really helpful as it keeps a food diary for you and you learn your pit falls. Healthier eating and exercise have a great impact on diabetes so you might end up not only thinner but diabetically fitter.
