done my back in which has stalled my getting fit goals :(

well moved to a new area, signed up to a new gym, signed up for boot camp classes and feeling positive. so got stuck into it, while waiting for my personal trainer sessions to start I get into using the gym, sometimes twice a day, every day. so happy and so determined! started my personal training sessions too so loads of weight training added, but then as you guessed overdone it and done my back in! in serious pain! so no personal trainer sessions while I get plenty of rest. determined to not let it ruin my plans. had sports massages, plenty of rest and hot baths and after nearly 2 weeks of this, back is still bad. really feeling down about it and so frustrated! just want to get better but my body isnt letting it happen! feeling like a failure but thats nothing new! lol

I would adjust what you are eating to make sure you're still eating at a deficit. 80% of weight loss is eating well.

You dont have much to lose so I wouldnt worry. make sure your logging is accurate and you maintain the deficit.

If it doesnt get better in a week consider going to see a physio for an assessment. So easy to injure yourself at the gym, hence people concentrate on form. Take it slow and steady when you get back with lower weights until it feels comfortable.

Just learn from the event and avoid the same mistake in the future.
