I was recently given an old slow cooker by a relative who wants me to "eat proper meals" when I get in from work lol. This recipe sounds perfect for me since I love chicken :)
Would it taste okay without the vinegar though? I usually have everything else in my cupboard, but white wine vinegar isn't a normal item on my shopping list. I have malt vinegar in my cupboard though.

Pictures or reviews on this? Trimming the fat off of meat put in a slowcooker sounds like a recipe for dry. I've also been told to avoid potatoes outside of a few hours (1-2 before serving); how are the sweet potatoes in a slowcooker for that long?
