Excited to start!

As always, I'm excited to start a new fitness regime, it's the finishing that I have trouble with. However, I read about My Fitness Pal in a magazine and I am really impressed and surprised, by how many calories I eat just at breakfast. I love to eat and have to eat, until I feel stuffed. I am a sober alcoholic (3 and half years) and when I stopped drinking, I needed to replace my afternoon cocktail with a sweet carbohydrate. I have always been a compulsive eater and sometimes bulimic and there is something in me that I need to constantly "fill". I am hoping that by keeping track of everything I eat, it will help me figure out why I do this and realize my goal of finally be free of my food addiction and get fit and healthy for life:)

  • Wow, I applaud you for seeking the answer beyond just the food addiction. (*) I have been working on this for 6 weeks, and actively been posting my foods for about 2 weeks. In the 2 weeks I have been posting, I found WAY more than I thought I would.
