Non Scale Victory! Small goal. Whatever. :)

I started working out with an outdoor group fitness boot camp called Camp Gladiator about 2.5 weeks ago. On my first day, the very first exercise went something like this:
Pick a partner, someone you don't know.
Play freeze tag, no running, speed walking only.
When you're tagged "it", do 2 burpees before you can chase your partner.
This is when I discovered, I COULD NOT DO A BURPEE. I thought I could do a burpee, but I could not. Not even a little. It was terribly embarrassing. I was so uncoordinated and out of shape, my legs just did not move that way. The coach and my partner demonstrated for me several times and eventually gave me an alternate "success option" to finish out... so that became one of my goals - get a stinkin burpee right.
Last Tuesday at Camp Gladiator, I finally did a stupid burpee!!! Not one, but many. I did burpees for as long as it took my partner to pull a tire across a field and back... that's the FIRST small goal I've hit and I can't wait to become strong enough to hit more and more!
Next I'm working on perfecting a tricep push and running 1 mile without stopping. I'll get there eventually.

Thank you.
"The burpee is a full body exercise used in strength training and as an aerobic exercise. The basic movement is performed in four steps and known as a "four-count burpee":
Begin in a standing position.
Drop into a squat position with your hands on the ground. (count 1)
Kick your feet back, while keeping your arms extended. (count 2)
Immediately return your feet to the squat position. (count 3)
Jump up from the squat position (count 4)0 -
Maybe someday I'll look up who came up with the name of that dumb thing. lol0
