Is it true?

Does muscle really weigh more than fat? I've been working really hard on losing weight and getting fit. I haven't lost any weight in the last 2 weeks, but have noticed that my pants are fitting much better. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Maria

Yes, its true. Muscle weighs more than fat, but takes up less room than fat. Thats why you arent noticing in pounds, but you are noticing in your clothes because of inches lost.!0

a pound is a pound. Fat, muscle, whatever.
But, a pound of muscle will take up less space, is more dense than a pound of fat.0 -
Thanks everyone. This makes me feel better.
