New to this and time to get my act together...

Hey, I'm new to MFP and I'm looking forward to being able to monitor my food and exercise through this. I have quite a bit of weight to lose and I am looking for other members who can help support me and I'll return the favour and I'm looking for mentors.

I understand it might be hard at first but I am dedicated to making myself a lot healthier.

    Start out with small goals when I started 100 plus lbs seemed impossibke and overwheling so I just set my goal for 10lbs at a time and finally lost a total of 115 lbs
  • welcome! 'time to get my act together' was my goal too, doing good have now lost 26lbs...good luck with your journey!

    Welcome! Great to hear you are commiting yourself to being healthier. Remember, this is a lifestyle change, not a quick-fix diet. Log what you eat, see where you need to make changes, and post on the message boards to really get involved. Keep at it and you'll see the results you want! Feel free to add me as a friend (and find others, too!) and I will give the support and encouragement whenever you need it!
