I just make sure I drink atleast 64 oz. Maybe use the restroom before you weigh in? I kind of at the same place you are. My goals are similar and our weights are 1 pound from being the same. What have you been doing to lose the weight? What are you plans? What are you eating?

Well, I gained 3lbs during the weekend (son's birthday/Easter), after drinking LOTS of water, watching my sodium for the past 3 days and working out.. the water weight is gone! I weigh myself every morning after using the bathroom.

    Sodium, sodium, sodium...

The water will not affect your weight in the morning, if you stay within your sodium intake. Sodium has been my downfall too. Try going at least a week keeping your sodium levels as low as you can and you will see your weight will be lower than you expected at the end of the week. It's not fun... or as tasty, but it's just a fact.

One way for sure is to manage your sodium intake. That is a sure way to retain water. Drinking water should not be a big issue when weighing in unless one has too much salt/sodium in their diet.
    I speak from experience ~:-)
    good luck!
