I have been with mfp for a week now and love it. I have been wanting to lose the same 25 lbs for the past 5 years but never seem to just "do it"... this time is different I am totally ready and comitted. I am hoping by logging my food daily I will see the "not so good habits" and change them. any friends or suggestions are welcomed:) :

I was the exact same as you. I would try to diet and "guess" that what I was eatting was good or not. But it never got me anywhere. This site really helps you be accountable to what you eat. I'm not a big exerciser, but just diet alone helped me lose my first 10 lbs. After that I got motivated to lose the rest and now I jog pretty regularly (which I have never done prior in my life). I'm sure you'll have a lot of sucess with this site. Good luck!0

I find that logging my food daily 100% helps me keep on track. I look at the calories I have to eat as money I have to spend -- I want to spend it wisely and get as much "bang for the buck" as I can.0
