Slim in 6...thoughts?

Can anyone share their thoughts and experience with the slim in 6 program? Just purchased it but then I read it was "beginner." I am beyond beginner - I've completed turbofire, t25, chalean extreme, and piyo....is this going to be too easy??

I've never done Slim in 6 but I don't think it would be "too" easy compared to the others you've done. I've completed Insanity but I still love doing my old The Firm DVD's (step aerobics/step plus hand weights) which are far easier but I still work up a good sweat and burn anywhere between 320-450 calories per workout which I think is worth it. Either way, switching things up is always a good thing, helps you avoid overtraining and targets different areas of the body.

Hi, you would probably be better to go straight to the second DVD Ramp it Up as you are obviously already quite fit. I did it last year and lost about half a stone and my body shape really changed, everyone noticed and commented. Unfortunately I got lazy and stopped, hence the need to restart as the weight has crept back on. Think you will find the 1st dvd far too easy.
Can I ask how you got on with turbofire? I have it but after struggling to get the moves on the first dvd I lost the will! Wondering which to start on Monday along with healthy eating.
  • So far I have done Start it up 4 times, Slim in 6 pack twice, and Cardio Core once. It's great - I do work up a sweat...it's clearly an old program so it's a bit cheesy and antiquated but I plan to complete the whole program.

I liked TF- it's probably my favorite program I've done. Very fun, high energy, and Chalene is an awesome trainer.

I've just started Slim in 6 and I'm finding it tough, but then again I'm out of shape lol.
    How's the programme going?
