I'm in an hour, but I wanted to start the post. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

I will do my best to get my walk in today and tomorrow. Yesterday I got a lot of exercise in with: elliptical, walk/jog, plus two other walks during the day - so having today off is probably a good idea.

Happy workouts y'all.

Mary

    Morning,
I am finally starting to feel better, though I sound awful this morning. lol. I've been thinking about my challenge for this week and I think I am going to choose to work out 5x this week, which I haven't done in a long time. I may miss a day though. This is a busy week! My other challenge was to finish my 100 push ups this week. I got the shirt so I have motivation. The sickness really got me down though and I haven't been doing them, so I may have to change my goal for Christmas. We'll see how it goes this week.
    Today is:
    drinking all my water
    going for a walk
    push ups
    cleaning house/laundry
    painting

Oh and I have to say that Alex is doing great! I hope he doesn't start getting worse since I am bragging on him!  He's been very talkative, good, and loving! It's awesome! He's been like this for over a week! Its been so nice!
    Have a great Monday everyone!

That's great news about Alex, MM. . .hope you're feeling better soon.

Mary, I'm actually jealous of your train journey. It's my dream to go from Toronto to Vancouver on the train (I almost did it last summer, but as usual, finances got in the way. . .)

So, today I'm really sore in my lower body. For example, every time I sit down I'm sorry because I know I'll have to get back up (darn squats and lunges. . .) But, my upper body is not as sore from my Saturday workout (I think maybe I didn't push as hard) I'll have to adjust my weight levels next time I do my legs. It's hard for me to find a balance of actually working myself vs. killing myself.

Today, I'm aiming for a light recovery cardio workout (fairly short and at 65% HR). I'm hoping warming the legs up will take away some of the soreness. . .

Tonight is date night, so I'll try to keep the excess to a minimum. . .

    Take care of yourselves.:flowerforyou:

Okay so I decided to go run a couple of errands this morning instead of cleaning and working out. It was either do it today or tomorrow. Everything went wrong this morning! I won't go into details because there was a lot of them. But it was horrible. I even hit my head on the roof of the car getting in! It was one of those trips that made me say I should have just stayed home. It seems like one of those "everybody is an idiot" days. Well on the way home, I had something rather humbling happen. I was mad and was thinking everyone's an idiot. I heard my heart say to me, "That was a test. I was showing you YOUR ugliness not everyone elses." I was being very ugly to everyone. It was a gentle reminder for me to be nice, especially as the holidays are approaching and everyone gets cranky and rushed. The whole world does not revolve around me, though it should. Just kidding.
