Hey everyone!
My name is Jason and I am new to this Fitness Pal. I have never used an App to track my weight, calories etc. I am use to doing it all on pen and paper myself. I have been doing it for almost 2 weeks now and it's going on the right direction. Due to advice of my doctor he wants me at a certain amount of calories per day as well as tracking my eating, exercising, portion controlling etc. With this App it's something that can give me everything that I am looking for, as well as showing my doctor when I go in for my next appointment that I am changing. The days of fast food is over. Because of this App I did a typical meal that I would have at fast food and it almost made me puke for the amount of calories, fat, salt I was putting into myself. I always thought that it wasn't that much, but it really was. I could see parts of myself gaining weight that have never had weight before and I know why it's happening. I know this App is going to get me back on the right track. It's baby steps but I am in the track of right direction.

Hi Jason
It's good you want to get healthy and change, it's not an easy thing to do. Overeating fast food was definitely my problem too. The app is pretty neat, I lost most of my weight before knowing about this app but I'm only half way to my goal so thought I'd try and count calories instead to help control my portions.
Goodluck on your journey. ^_^0 -
5 Years ago I never had to worry about my weight. I could have aten anything that I wanted and never would have gained a pound. Now it's anything that I eat is going to be going to where it shouldn't be. Not only fighting my weight, fighting parts of my body that are going to be giving me more weight and it's not through eating.0
