how to feel motivated

how can you feel motivated to excercise when your feet hurt.

  • Motivation doesn't really exist. It's not some magic thing that pops into your head, "ooh I'm ready to do this". At least not for me. Discipline is the only thing that I can say actually helps. You just start the action with your body without letting your mind tell you not to do it.

    As for feet hurting - swimming, eliptical, stationary bike are all lower impact. Upper body strength training, too.

    Discipline. Motivation is a magic ingredient, you can't wait until it shows up...Just do it....Once you get in the habit of putting it on your to do list and doing it like any other chore, it gets easier....And you might even start missing it if you skip a workout for some reason.....

  • There's a certain mindset that you have to be in. But as others have said it's discipline, and if I might also add - Dedication.
