Just did the fit test and Burn Circuit 1 and am feeling good!
I just finished a few different rounds of Jillian Michaels (love her and got great results) decided I'd try something different so I don't get bored & give up. Anyone else new to Chalene? or just love her?

I LOVE Chalene Johnson. I'm actually doing a little bit of ChaLEAN Extreme and a little bit of Turbo Fire as well.

Thanks ladies! I have done a round of Insanity as well, it seems like any Beachbody workout is a sure bet.
I am also training for my 1st 5k in 4 weeks so will be running on top of the CX, hopefully I can keep up! haha0 -
I bought Chalean Extreme 3 months ago and I (embarrassingly) have yet to try it. I am nervous for some reason. I want to lose fat, not bulk up. Anyone have any advice for a terrible procrastinator?0

Don't be scared! This is a program that makes you lean and strong, not all bulky. I am loving it so far! Good luck, you CAN do it0

I highly recommend listening to the audio CD, "Extreme Motivation". She explains how the program works and has a lot of other advice. Once you listen to it you will be pumped up and ready to Go!!!0

I love her! I first did Turbo Jam, then Chalean Extreme, and right now I am on week 6 of Turbo Fire. When I am done with that I am going to do a TurboFire Chalean Extreme hybrid! She is the only instructor that I like and that can keep me motivated!0

I love her so much I've done 3 rounds of CLX (two of which were CLX/Turbo Fire hybrids) and just became a Turbo Kick instructor!0

I love ChaLean Extreme! I did the program two years ago. It was the first time I really enjoyed working out, and hated when I had to miss a workout.
Right now, I'm doing Turbo Fire a few days a week. I'm having sinus surgery soon, but after that I think I'm going to to a CLX/TF combo to get ready for my vacation in July.

I am one the third month (Lean Circuit) of Chalean Extreme. It is my first week and so far I am doing well but it is very challenging!!! I have lost 25 pounds so far and am in a plateau and I am hoping this new month will help get me out of it!!! This is the only program that I have done that actually works for me...LOVE IT!!!!0

Hi Laura! I'm also doing a combination of Chalean Extreme and Turbo Fire . . . . . AND . . . . I'm starting the 17 Day Diet tomorrow! I just got the book and need to get a few groceries to get started. I already know I love CLX and Turbo Fire -- how are you liking the 17 Day Diet?0 -
Ok ladies, did anyone hit a plateau the 1st few weeks with CLX? I'm thinking it's because of the weight lifting that I haven't lost for a couple weeks. Hopefully!0

I just restarted yesterday. I took back my weights because I couldn't stand them and I just received my Bowflex in the mail over the week-end.
Stalling is usually the norm when starting a strength training regimen. The 1st time I stalled for 3 weeks but when all the water started to release it was about a 6 lbs lost in one week.0 -

Thanks Desirai, I just finished Jillian Michaels 30day shred & the 30 day slimdown. Low weights lots of reps so I'm thinking my body is adjusting to the new program.

Kind of. For a while I thought nothing was really happening. I mean I was definitely getting stronger, but I wasn't losing more weight or inches than I would have had I just cut calories (I believe). Then I got into the Push Phase, and I can just "tell" my metabolism is increasing. I'm thinner and dropping weight quicker than I had been, and I'm only just into this 2 month.
So, I say hang in there. I read things online where some people drop a lot of weight and inches during the 1st month, hardly anything the 2nd, and then it picks up again in the 3rd. Then I read about people who lose the most in the 2nd month. Etc. I guess each of us will respond differently.0 -

I think the answer is that it depends on how strong you are currently, but I think you can probably start with those and the resistance bands that come with the program.
In my experience, I am getting really strong really fast. I now own 20 lbs dumbells and need to go out and get 25's and 30's this weekend. So you may find they don't do enough for you fairly quickly and need heavier things. I never really gave the bands a shot ... but people are using them in the DVD's, so I guess you could make them work throughout the entire 3 months.

I ordered Chalene Extreme this past weekend and am waiting oh so patiently for that package to just land on my door step! I've been having so many questions about it in my head & this post is REALLY getting me excited! Hurry up Mr. Post Man!!!!!!!

I just started adding in Turbo Jam, mostly the ab workout and the 20 Minute session. I am really weak cardio-wise, but seeing improvements. I also have Turbo Fire, but I definitely need to work up to that.
If you wouldn't mind sharing, what were your results? I'm just curious.0 -
As of today, I've lost 20 lbs with it in the 3 months I've been using it. But what truly amazes me is that I now have a waist! I was a big block before it. Also, my love handles are no where to be found! LOL I used to be weak in cardio, as well- but these turbo drill's have me HOOKED! When you finish one, you feel like you've kicked some major butt! I have to work up to Turbo Fire, but that is next on my list when I complete CLX!0

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well with your workouts. I finished the first week of the Push Circuit today. Whew! Can tell I'm getting stronger, but "ouch!" Feels great, though!
