I have been using MyFitnessPal for about a month with the Android app. A recent update to the recipe entry process concerned me at first when I could not search for items or scan items in but once I entered a couple items the scan icon came up and when I finished the recipe items that were manually typed in were found in a search, which was worked well. This morning I modified a recipe, entering items in as I went, scanning many and entering others manually. After I finished everything looked good but when I looked at it later in my diary and noticed a discrepancy in the protein, I edited it and of the 12+ items entered into the recipe only 4 persisted one of which was wrong (brown sugar instead of sugar) though this was probably my fault when I reviewed it. This is kind of disappointing since now I have to scan everything in again and try to remember how much was put in. Could this be a problem with the new recipe entry system or did I do something wrong?

It is impossible to edit the recipes in the new system. You have to delete the whole thing and start again.0
