The Newbe on Board!

Hello,
I don't know what really to say besides the fact that I need support.

I am 20 years old and need to get things under control. I work 40 hours a week plus school at night for up to 20 hours a week. I sit on my butt alot and need to get up and move more. I have been told by my doctor to get my exercise an eating habits in check because I am at risk for metabolic syndrome and high cholesterol runs in my family. I need to get a hold of these before it is too late. I thought that this would be a good way to help myself track everything that I am doing be it right or wrong, I guess I will find out.
Right now my biggest pit fall is being hungry all the time and eating too much too late at night. Hopefully I will find good support thru all of this and I really look forward to my journey ahead of me.

:)

  • Hey there!

My husband and I just started doing the Power 90 DVDs. It's a slower version of the P90X but still very effective. It's been great so far, about 30 minutes per day and then you get a day off. The first week I've lost 6 lbs plus watching calories. Good luck and if you need a buddy just send me an email!

    Welcome to MFP :)
If I were you I would start by doing what I did :P (tongue twister, I know)

    Anywhoo
When I started here, I planned every day in the morning by logging all the meals I intended to eat that day. That way I could see that I was staying within limits.

Also, Eat more before 3 in the afternoon. Works wonders on your appetite, and you won´t feel hungry and lethargic all day :)

    Good luck :)
