Confused by the title? Me too. Anyway heres my story, had a baked ham for supper and left overs next few days, I know ham is high in sodium just never realized how high til I entered it. Anyway, next day my weight spikes by 2 pounds which I understand is from water retention and you need to flush it out with more water, I get that. My question though is this, can you still have fat loss while retaining water from high sodium intake?

Yes. The potential loss will just be "masked" by the retention.0
