Hello! I just started the 30 day shread on monday as well as slim in 6. I was just wondering if those of you who have already done the shread did it as your only exercise of if you did it with another routine as well?

Everyday varies for me. Most often, I did it along with walking my dogs, or pilates, or yoga.
Nothing too crazy. I aimed for 1 hour of exercise 5 days a week, but usually did 6 days a week.0 -
I started on Monday too and felt like I need more cardio to keep up my weight loss goals. So, I still sneak in about 30min more of something a day. Before doing the shred though - I was doing 40ish min a day on the elliptical trainer. I guess it would just be up to you - how effective does it feel you and your burn needs.0

I do it at least once a day, along with either Zumba or Hip Hop Abs.0

I just do the 30 day shred. On weekends, if I have more time, I choose a longer workout DVD (No More Trouble Zones or Banish Fat). On weekdays, I do leisurely walking around my workplace, in between meetings, to the parking garage etc- Total of 30 mins possibly.0

I might be one of the few people who only did the Shred exclusively, not supplementing it with anything else. (I didn't have much to lose though, so I wasn't in dire need of big burns fast). I think you can do whatever works best for you!0

def. do it with cardio as well even if its only jogging an extra mile afterwards. not only will it help with muscle soreness it will also give you that extra bump you need to lose some serious weight0

What is it: http://jillianmichaels.shop.sportstoday.com/Product.aspx?cp=14308&pc=JIAM13 (or just google it and get more results)
I try and do the 30ds in the morning--that way by afternoon or night I have the energy to do a little more. I usually walk my dog 30-60 minutes afterward or at night and then swim or do a yoga video. Some days I feel like the 30DS and a walk is enough as long as I ate balanced meals.0 -
I started Monday as well and I supplement on some days. Yesterday I did water aerobics Otherwise I can actually feel a difference. Maybe try supplementing a few times a week and if that works better for you then do that or increase it.0

I too was doing the elliptical for 45 min a day but I wasn't seeing any results even though I would feel worn out afterwards, I feel like a need more then just the 30 day shread because it just doesn't feel like enough and I feel like slim in 6 doesn't give me the burn im looking for so I think I may start doing the elliptical as well0 -
Thanks guys! I think im going to continue doing it with another workout routine as well Im just not quite sure as to what. I may possibly do the elliptical or on somedays switch to ramp it up on the slim in 6.0

I just do 30 Day Shred Monday-Friday and on the weekends I work outside. If I work out more then I need to eat more and I really have a hard time eating more when I'm not even hungry. I will actually plateau by doing this, but everyone is different.0

This 30 day shred sounds interesting. I may just have to get myself a copy.0

Jillian Michaels is gonna kill me!!! Ok, first time doing 30 day shred...I did most of the exercises she did but if I was unable to I kept moving...one down 29 to go...God give me strength. Just curious..how do the rest of you enter that in your exercise journal? How many cals are average for just the 1 step? Thanks all...0
