It was either Conway Twitty, Barbara Mandrel (with opening act, the Eagles), or Alabama, but I don't remember which one. I saw all of them at Six Flags over Mid-America in the late 1970's/early 1980's.

Sadly...N'sync and I think it was 98. It was before anyone even knew who they were. The tickets were $4.00 and I caught Justin Timberlake when he dove from a speaker. Still makes me laugh.

Iggy Pop 33 years ago...my Mum escorted me and he spat on her. Well, in his defence, all of the punks were spitting at him and I think my Mum got in the way. I didn't care, it was one of the best concert I've ever been too. I was all of 13 at the time. I went and saw The Cure a few weeks later, without Mum :p

Probably a New York Philharmonic Young People's Concert with Leonard Bernstein in the mid 1950s. First rock concert: The Beatles at Shea Stadium, 1965.

Sha Na Na .... Fillmore West ... 1971 Great Show!

I'm pretty sure my first was Sha Na Na too, but it was later, after they were more mainstream. Circa 1981, probably at the South Shore Music Circus in Massachusetts.

I wanted to go see David Cassidy in 1972 but my mother said no. I wish she was still alive so I could thank her for not letting me waste my time and money.

    Anyone went to this?

The Moondog Coronation Ball was a concert held at the Cleveland Arena in Cleveland, Ohio on March 21, 1952. It is generally accepted as the first major rock and roll concert.

I saw Elvis in concert in 1973 (?). That was my first concert and I was 11 years old. 40 years later, I still remember it vividly. When he walked onstage, the people went CRAZY. Like a deity had just appeared.
