I need to lose more than 100 pounds, and when I think about that huge number I just feel so tired. I'll start exercising for a few days, but then I'll be too tired or too busy and tell myself I'll just miss one day and then I'll stop for weeks. I just had a baby two months ago, so it's hard enough to find the time. Any advice?

I am in the boat! My goal is to lose 115 lbs. So far I have lost 50 lbs. Inside something just clicked, and you have to grit your teeth and realize you will not lose 100 lbs in the typical "one month diet" that many people use to lose 5-10 lbs. You need to realize that it will take probably a year at least, and you just have to start creating new habits for yourself. After the first 3 weeks, I find that a new habit has a tendency to stick...0

You have to settle in for the long term - make changes that you can stick with. But then also break it down - set short term goals you can focus on and use to build momentum. Here's a few blogs I wrote while losing 145 pounds you might find helpful:

Good luck. You can do it. You and your family deserve it.

I don't have 100 pounds to lose, but I am working on 70. I have had similar issues to you - so I recently decided to tackle it two ways:
1) overall but
2) broken down into 5 and 10 pound mini goals.
It's working(Oh, and I set rewards for each level, just simple stuff like nailpolish, a movie, a bubble bath, stuff I don't usually make time for)

For me it's 100% mental to want it and it's a woe and it's going to be long term.0
