Another reason the scale sucks

Two weeks ago I was 2lbs lower on the scale, but the jeans I have on were just a wee bit too tight to wear comfortably for a long ride in the car. Today they feel perfect, but the scales says they shouldn't. I'd rather be comfortable in my once too small jeans than have that 2lb deficit.
This is my nsv/psa: always have more than one measure of success. The scale doesn't distinguish between fat, muscle, or water. Measure, evaluate your clothing fit, take pictures--if you rely solely on the scale, you aren't seeing the whole picture.
Have a lovely weekend.

I agree with this all completely. Pictures are a huge confirmation of success for me. It's hard to see it daily in the mirror. But pictures side by side over a two week, one month span show the progress made0
