My grandma had diverticulitis for many many years, she used to have a bowl of bran every morning, she said it helped a lot.
As for acid reflux, thats something I have suffered with for so many years now, and yes it can be a major problem, try have plenty of alkaline based foods and drinks, rice and potatoes i find dont set mine off, nor does pita breads, but normal bread sets it off really bad, and noodles, and pasta does too.
So be worth checking various foods out each day and make notes of what ya had and when and how long it took you to feel sick, then go through the ingredients of each product to see whats in them.
Dont know enough about the other 2 conditions to give any solid advice on them sorry,
Wish ya all the best.0 -
You may need to see a nutritionist. Ask your doctor to refer you to someone who can plan a diet that will help you heal.0

Stick to a low fiber diet for a couple weeks until the inflammation can go down. This would mean no fruits and vegetables, and no whole grains....Eat small frequent meals of bland foods. It may sound to be the opposite of healthy and not a lot of fun, but the goal is to heal the gut, just like you would rest an ankle if you sprained your ankle....being lactose intolerant try someother types of milks, like almond milk or soy milk, and if you feel like you an try scambled eggs for protein, or baked chicken breast. Mashed potatoes made with almond milk. Hope your feel better.
After the doctor gives you the go ahead start adding fiber back to your diet slowly to make sure you can tolerate it...like one piece of fruit or one serving or cooked veg at a time.0 -

I eat diced chicken lightly slathered in bbq sauce, with a side of basmati rice for lunch and a glass of pomegranate juice. For breakfast I eat oatmeal, nuetrition shake made of frozen fruits, frozen spinach leaves, 1 banana, tofu, soy milk, natural peanut butter, and Greek yogurt. My sides are two pieces of toast w/ either thin spreads of jam or butter or peanut butter. For snacks I eat nuts, fruits, yogurts and for dinner I eat steak, potato, greens. I drink muscle milk, water, pomegranate juice during the day and workouts.0

Nexium has been a life saver for me. Every food would give me reflux and I was even throwing up in my sleep. Yeah, not fun to wake up to. I'm also lactose intolerant, I use the lactaid pills when I'm going to eat any dairy. Though I generally stay away from it. Your best bet would probably be going to see a GI dr.0

Have you seen a specialist for the problem? My grandma suffered for 40 years with it (no corn, no nuts sooo many nos in her menu) and I finally made her go see a surgeon. They removed about 2.5 feet of the first part of her intestines and she hasnt had a single problem since. Apparently in her case all of the pockets were in one spot and they were able to fix the whole problem with a simple laproscopic procedure. If you havent been checked out, it couldnt hurt to find out, perhaps there is help for you.
Grandma swore by metamucil daily during the years she was afflicted. It's a fiber suppliment you drink, she was doing it twice a day when i was growing up and it seemed to help her - that and knowing what not to eat of course. http://www.metawellness.com0
