I just noticed that my photo never worked. Sigh. OK, here goes--30 pounds down, and about 60 to go.
I've realized lately that while I used to feel that I HAD to lose 1.5-2 pounds a week to feel successful, I'm getting happier with myself, so I'm not putting as much pressure on myself to hit what was a pretty restrictive calorie limit. It's been nice to give myself 300 more a day, even if it means I'll be losing less per week. It funny how perspectives shift as what you see in the mirror changes.

These are my professional head shots from 2012, 2013, and 2014. I didn't start my weight loss journey until March 2013, but the October 2012 head shot shows my start weight/face. The middle shot is from October 2013 and I was down about 30 pounds. The shot on the right is current as of last month and I'm down a total of 54 pounds to date. Halfway there!!!

I've lost a little over 50 lbs. My mom told me today that my head has gotten smaller. I know my skin has improved and I can see my cheeks aren't as puffy.

These were taken almost exactly 2 years apart. The first picture was the picture that convinced me I needed to lose weight. I was at around 190 (I was too scared to weigh myself). The second picture I'm at 165(ish). Since that picture I've lost about 5 more pounds.
