I am 18, female, 9st 6lbs and about 5ft 4 inch! I realise my plan before was probably a little too low on calories so I've decided to use a BMR calculator to help me make a new one! My BMR is 1342 calories a day which is how many calories I would burn doing nothing! Can someone help me figure out how many I would need to eat a day if I did no exercise (I would be about 4 days a week) but ate at a deifict? Thanks!

You enter your height, weight, age and activity level on the goals page. It will spit out a number based on your goals- use this.

Thank you, I have done this but it still says 1200 a day? People are telling me this is too low?

You're already at a healthy weight, so change your deficit to half a pound per week. This will give you more calories.

Would you say eating 1400 calories a day? As well as the 4 days a week that I do cardio and some strength?

Is that what it tells you when you change your goal to .5 pound/week?

Okay, your profile says you have 1 pound to lose, so basically you're trying to maintain??

Where does it say that too? I'm pretty much new to this it's confusing me but no, I want to loose no more than a stone but no less than half a stone!

Click on your photo, dear. You entered something wrong during setup, as your ticker says you only have one pound to lose.

Thank you, just tried changing it but on my goals it does say I want to loose 8 pounds? Ticker must not be changing :(

on the top of this page, click settings, then click update diet/fitness profile. From there you can enter your current and goal weight. Hope that helps.

Based on your measurements etc, eating 1400 calories/day will result in a 1/2 pound per week loss, plus you get to eat back your exercise calories. Starving yourself on less than the 1000 calories/day you've been eating is only going to set you up for a world of trouble. You have very little to lose, it will be gradual.

hmmm. Maybe try re-doing your ticker. Maybe that will refresh the data on it?

Great job-okay now see where it says what is your goal? Change that to .05 pounds per week. This will give you more calories and you will earn the rest through exercise.

So if I aim for 1400 a day with the exercise and if I want to eat some back I will be fine?

Ok great thank you! :) just confuses me cause I've used different BMR calculators and every one has told me differently but if I should be ok to loose weight whilst eating 1460 calories then that is what I shall do :)
